Over half of parents use Facebook to keep an eye on their children?! Aargh…. Would be really interested to know how children react to that.

Well, that is a reality for a long time now… first it began for fear of the possibilities the internet provided for uncontrolled and missleading information to children, mostly… now the reality is that you either teach your children to check information and to not be so trusting (not sure the construction of this sentence is correct) or you’ll be looking over them for their entire life… or yours, since, traditionally, children outlive their parents.
I can count myself lucky that I was never that trusting and my mom never had much patience to spy on me, as far as I know.
There’s a cool South Park episode about facebook… I actually don’t like the show, but that episode is interesting in some ways… look it up if you have the chance!
Even as an adult my parents spy on me on Facebook! Or am I spying on them?
