Depressing, indeed. Which makes me wonder who is responsible for turning public education into this “factory” model, punitive, behavior-based system.
Those who point the finger to authorities lack the sense of responsibility because eventually “behind the classroom door it is the teacher who creates the learning evironment” (Sir Ken).
